His spiritual practice has become part of his life and is incorporated into his teaching style. He is passionate about bringing yoga into the lives of others and is truly an advocate for the healing abilities that yoga possesses and its abilities to open and transform lives.
Elise Bowerman, RYT
While Elise was working on her B.S. in dance she began practicing yoga as a gentler way to explore movement. To her discovery she found yoga was not just about getting to the ultimate posture (asana), but rather finding inner stillness and spirituality within our own abilities. Elise was drawn to this open-mindedness, so with encouragement from her professors she was able to research and take yoga classes for her senior project/thesis. By uniting her mind and body she was able to work on self-reflection and found much fulfillment in her practice. To improve her practice Elise completed yoga shala (school of yoga) at Namasté Yoga in Royal Oak. She enjoys teaching and supporting others on their own paths of self-exploration and happiness.
Cindy Mittleman
Cindy discovered yoga after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Upon experiencing the many benefits of yoga, it became her desire to share this beautiful, healing lifestyle with others. Cindy began teaching in 2002 and received her instructor certification from AFAA based upon the teachings of Gary Kraftsow's Viniyoga and has also studied with a variety of master teachers. She received her training for Thai Yoga Therapy from Saul David Raye, and integrates lines of energy instruction in her teaching. She uses gentle adjustments, along with verbal instruction and example, in guiding one through their asanas. She emphasizes Pranayama (breath work) as a powerful tool and incorporates readings into her classes. Cindy's focus is to assist others in realizing an optimal energy flow bringing forth an increased spiritual and physical awareness of themselves and that which surrounds them.

Mohini Joshi
Mohini found yoga in 2000 in India, where she grew up, and only practiced to keep chronic migraines at bay. After coming to the USA and continuing her practice she soon discovered that there was more to yoga than just using it as a therapy for an ailment. The practice of yoga opened a door for inner well-being. She truly believes that a peaceful state of mind, open heart and playful spirit is an ideal way to lead a life. Her practice and teaching style reflects the same. She likes to encourage people to come onto their mat and try yoga to begin the transformation at the peripheral (physical) level and take it one step at a time to get in touch with the inner being the, spiritual level. She enjoys all styles of yoga and mostly teaches Basic, Gentle and Vinyasa Yoga.
Hugh Danville
Hugh's spiritual journey started in 1984 in an accidental meeting with a Vajrayāna Meditation teacher. He practiced meditation and studied in the Vajrayāna, Nyingma tradition for the next 14 years. At which time his teacher left this realm. Hugh spent the next two years maintaining his practice with an informal group. In 2000 he started attending Sunday morning settings at Deep Spring Center in Ann Arbor (a non-denomination meditation center). He soon joined the sangha and thus began a Theravadan Vipassana (Insight) Meditation practice.
